About Our Senior Pastor
Apostle Tonya Y. Mitchell is a woman who is dedicated to the things of God. She is a native of Washington, DC but currently resides in the state of Maryland.
She is married to a wonderful man of God, Pastor James C. Mitchell. Together they have 5 beautiful daughters: Jamia, Jameka, Jasmine, Imani and Kiyani and 1 son Tyruhn. They also have two grandsons: Khalil and Carter and one granddaughter, Jordyn.
Apostle Mitchell was installed as a pastor by the late Bishop Diana L. Dunn and on November 2, 2003 Nothing But The T.R.U.T.H Ministries opened its doors. As a woman called to the ministry, she knew of some of the challenges that would come her way. None the less Apostle Mitchell is fully aware of her assignment and Who has called, anointed and appointed her to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ; God the Father.
Apostle Mitchell is also the Founder and Visionary of The Shepherd Connection which was launched in 2014. It is a fellowship for pastors and ministry leaders. A place where leaders can be nurtured, mentored, encouraged and trained to be great leaders of integrity and character.
She is also the Dean/Founder of The Equipping Center, a ministry training school. The school opened its doors in September 2019.
Apostle Mitchell attended New Life Community School of Ministry and Bible Institute and received her Masters Degree in Religion on June 17, 2006.
She is a powerful woman of God who operates in a strong apostolic/prophetic anointing declaring boldly what thus saith the Lord. On November 5, 2016 she was affirmed as an Apostle, by her leader, Chief Apostle James L Spence. He is the Presiding Prelate of Word Harvest International Fellowship of Churches, with the headquarters church located in Durham NC.
